Core Fluid Dynamics Engineering Rules:
Jet Length Throw: Optimized Ø 7 mm nozzle configuration guarantees a hard kinetic scrubbing boundary radius of up to 13-14 meters.
Settling Dynamics: Smaller nozzle layout profiles restrict instant volumetric flow discharge rates, actively extending settling retention times inside the 14 m³ separation containment skips to precipitate out heavy drill solids efficiently.
Pre-Operational Requirements Checklist
System Flush: Verify that all internal mud transfer lines, manifolds, and temporary flow lines are thoroughly clear/ prewashed.
Rig Utility Check: Confirm host facility or PSV Vessel can maintain minimum required air manifold volume, continuous electrical power
limits, and structural footprint deck space clearance.
Bulk Tank Clearing: Ensure all remaining bottom mud volumes or bulk fluid slops have been systematically transferred away.
Rig Communications: Establish a direct, dedicated 2-way radio loop with the rig control room or Vessel command bridge.
HSE / Confined Space Entry: Validate all active Confined Space Entry permits, crew certifications, and chemical-resistant PPE lines.
Client Quality Baseline: Agree upon and sign off on target clean parameters (e.g., standard oil-based mud recovery vs. completion
Brine readiness benchmarks).
Field Rigging Procedure
01
Secure Base Placement
Spot the 10FT housing container on level structural pad.Tie in primary earth ground straps, host grid electrical feeds, and main high-volume air manifolds.
02
Mount Cleaning Heads
Position the ‘Wizzy’ automated wash heads securely onto internal tank ladder structures or specialized top-hatch brackets *(all delivered as part of the GTCU package).
03
Deploy All – Flo AODD
Network
Rig up the primary 3-inch diaphragm pump at tank bottom with a 2-inch suction line *(through the 3’’ to 2’’ adapter), discharging directly into the main waste skip diffuser box.
04
Establish Recovery Loops
Set up 2-inch All-Flo pumps to draw clean water from the main skip back to the GTCU tank, loop sediments out, and transfer separated solids to storage bins.
Live System Operation Workflow
Fluid Charging Phase: Prime the internal storage tank with exactly 6 m³ of fresh drill water; charge the main waste
separation skip to a 50% fill level benchmark.
Loop Balancing Phase: Initialize the manifold air supply to activate recycling diaphragm pumps. Dynamically sync
transfer flows to achieve flat fluid balances.
High-Pressure Pump Startup: Start the electric high-pressure vertical pumps with the main discharge valve closed.Gradually open the valve over time to block line water hammer spikes.
Evacuation Clearing: Energize the 3-inch All-Flo pump at stable air rates, in order to continuously draw effluent water out of the working tank floor.
Chemical Polishing Loop: Once heavy solid fractions are drawn down, introduce a concentrated 1% to 2% chemical wash desemulsifier matrix into the fluid loop to dissolve residual oil skin layers.
Rig-Down & Preventative Maintenance Protocols
Demobilization Sequences
Tank Evacuation: Fully discharge and clear the internal GTCU holding tank.
Closed-Loop Flush: Route all quick-connect transfer hoses into a single continuous loop circuit and flush with clean water.
Air Blowdown: Force compressed high-volume air through the hose loop to evacuate water pockets and prevent the rust/frost crystallization.
Rigid Maintenance Constraints
Cartridge Seals Check: Manually spin the pump shaft prior to engine start to guarantee the mechanical seals have not bound from dehydration film friction.
ATEX Hot-Work Prohibition: Without opening an Electrical Isolation Permit, never open electrical component boxes or loosen metal structural bolts inside a classified hazardous area due to mechanical frictional spark risks.
Joint Re-Greasing: Coat all structural casing joints with Total Multis Complex HV2 specialized grease compound during every maintenance teardown window.
