Managing Director & CEO Envirowaste France
Everything has started based on a professional expertise of over 35 years in the fields of Oilfield Waste Management, Tank Cleaning, Dangerous Goods and NORM’s. As a multi lingual, dynamic and meticulous Oilfield and Environmental specialist, I was always concerned to obtain positive results and efficiently operating, firstly into the global Waste footprint reduction, and second in the improvement of the Waste treatment coming directly or indirectly from the Oilfield or industrial activities. This was always driven on the first level with the aim of taking care of the subordinate personnel safety and security, in the meantime with the Environment preservation and perenniality.
The Beginning

Having a very grounded career and professional direct experience into performing and managing Automatic Tank Cleaning Activity with Offshore Rigs and associated Platform Supply Vessels, from start to finish in many countries in harsh environments, the unit was just created using working methods in respective of the Waste Management and Dangerous Goods, together with my technical oriented structure, using real basic common sense with ease of user, friendly controls with safety in mind also to fit and work in harsh conditions with high ambiental temperatures up to around +60°C and extreme sandstorms and weather conditions.
From my experience as an operator in this field my idea was to design and manufacture a fully automatised cleaning unit ”In a box” with a very small footprint of only 10ft to accomnodate the premium deck space on a Offshore Rig. The compact size also making it easy to transport using a standard flatbed trailer Onshore and, with the special lifting slings, making it easy to load and unload on Offshore rigs and boats.
Grass Roots

My adventure had started years’ back, after a full process designed, imagined and put in page during the years of my West African professional background. The very first GTCU unit was adressed to a client from Mauritania and was sucessfully used on jobs for Total Energies, BP, Woodside.
Full manufacturing was performed into the own classic cars restoration Garage.
Further on, the first units were individually made in that special environment and our final client satisfaction it’s the best reward that you can get.
Us Today

Since 2024, together with the Team, we’re proudly building the newly last generation v2.0 of the GTCU model ECU 224 into a 1,000 m² of industrial building, situated into an Industrial Activities Zone, located right in the center of France.
Our manufacturing chain is able to accomodate and process simultaneously the completion of up to 6 units and the usual lead time to complete one GTCU unit is 10 weeks.
We’re assisting our clients not only at the initial Comisionning, but also through a comprehensive hands-on training as well all alongside the build up of their capacities to conquer their local or regional market.
Continuous Improvement

We’re continuously challenging ourselves to discover new horizons linked, but not limited, to the core of business, mainly trying to create the most adaptative cleaning units that can be used whilst having to perform under other type of constraints (scaled minimised equipment, increase of the range of capabilities of the units, their increasing power of hard sediments breaking etc.
